The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO) together with Steinway & Sons piano, announces it's new piano competition open to young pianists of all nationalities from 8 to 12 years old, offering visibility for up-and-coming young artists to perform alongside MISO. Thanks to a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, as part of its Knight Arts Challenge, Music Director and Conductor Eduardo Marturet will lead the selected soloist at a high-profile concert at the Adrianne Arsht Center Knight Concert Hall. The MISO/Steinway Miami 2017 Young Pianist International Competition will be held in the city of Miami, in the last week of April and first week of May 2017. Participation in the Competition will be final after submitting the required documents and recordings, by February 15th, 2017.
